We haven't even had a chance to celebrate this monumental moment, and yet Trump is already trying to take credit for the vaccine.

The same man who muzzled federal scientists, disparaged Dr. Fauci and other public health experts, suppressed CDC reports, and refused to wear a mask while over 300,000 Americans lost their lives to the deadly coronavirus is now boasting that "whether you like [me] or not, this is one of the greatest miracles in the history of modern-day medicine" and Trump thinks he deserves the credit for it.

We want to make it clear that this achievement is a testament to the power of science and the relentless work that researchers around the world have put in for months. This vaccine was not created by our disastrous president.
