This year we have faced unprecedented obstacles, and despite it all, we are going into 2021 more organized and determined to radically reimagine our city. That is something worth celebrating.

Nothing could have prepared us for 2020. Despite it all we remain more hopeful for our future, because together we made it through. New leadership emerged from every corner of the city, of all ages, backgrounds, and creeds bound by a common purpose. YOU are a part of this hope. The very reason why New York City recovers every time we are told to drop dead, be ignored, or ridiculed. We are New Yorkers. New Yorkers persevere, and rise up stronger than before. So let’s celebrate!
