I got into this race over a month ago because I love this city. I moved here over a decade ago with $100 in my pocket and a relentless optimism about the promise of New York. It’s an optimism I still hold deep. Yes, Manhattan faces real challenges: we have lost tens of thousands of our neighbors to a continuing public health crisis; we have empty storefronts on every block that used to be home to small businesses; and we have a deeply uncertain economic future. People are unsure if New York will ever be the same. Well, I know the best is yet to come.

I’m running for Manhattan Borough President to create a more equitable, sustainable, and livable City, a city that resurges in 2021 better than ever before. In this moment, we need leaders with proven experience. I’m an urban planner with extensive experience in housing, economic development and disaster relief and I promise I will do the best I can to work with the community to rebuild our city.
