Team,

In addition to the Senate runoffs, voters in Georgia will be casting their ballots for another critical statewide office: public service commissioner.

Daniel Blackman is running a people first campaign for Public Service Commissioner to take on the powerful energy industry in Georgia. He is running on a platform of lowering utility rates, supporting clean energy, and expanding internet access. That is why I am proud to endorse Daniel Blackman for Public Service Commissioner in Georgia.

Early voting in Georgia has already begun, so we need to ensure Daniel has the resources he needs to reach and mobilize voters now — can you make a contribution right now to power his voter mobilization efforts? [[link removed]]

The Georgia Public Service Commission makes important decisions that affect Georgian families every day, like setting rates on electric bills and determining state investments into renewable energy.

The commission has been Republican controlled for years, but this year current District 4 Commissioner Lauren McDonald fell shy of the 50 percent of the vote she needed to maintain her seat without a runoff. Daniel Blackman earned 46.9 percent — meaning this is an extremely competitive race.

Daniel is committed to reaching communities in Georgia which Democrats do not usually reach. That means that with his campaign resources, we have the opportunity to mobilize even more Georgia voters to generate an overwhelming turnout ahead of January 5th.

A contribution to Daniel Blackman’s campaign will ensure they can continue to reach eligible voters who historically have not voted and mobilize them to turn out in Georgia. Make a contribution right now to power Daniel’s voter mobilization efforts and help elect Democrats up and down the ballot in Georgia. [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Julián
