David Cicilline's Gun Safety PAC
Rep. David Cicilline's Gun Safety Political Action Committee (PAC) is the only congressional leadership PAC dedicated to ending gun violence. It will identify and support candidates who will vote for and pass gun safety legislation that will put an end to the crisis of gun violence in America. We hope you’ll stick around to learn more and support our mission. But if you ever want to opt-out, you can do so here.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of the tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The murder of 20 first-graders and six educators shocked the nation. We said “never again” and Congress introduced an Assault Weapons Ban and a bipartisan background checks bill to help deliver on that promise.

But neither piece of legislation passed. Congress didn’t change any of our federal laws, and thousands of mass shootings have occurred since that devastating day in 2012.

It was a shameful period in our nation’s history. Republicans in Congress couldn’t even come together and buck the NRA after one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history.

Today, we have a chance to finally right these wrongs and pass gun safety legislation. But first, we have to win two runoff elections in Georgia. Will you donate to support candidates who are 100% committed to ending gun violence in this country so we can finally act on our promises from eight years ago?

Mere days after the Sandy Hook tragedy, then-President Barack Obama announced the formation of an inter-agency gun violence task force headed by then-Vice President Joe Biden.

Joe Biden has been a champion for gun safety since his early days in the U.S. Senate. And he’s a supporter of an assault weapons ban and universal background checks – so Congress could send legislation to his desk for signature as soon as he takes office!

But in order to get these bills through the Senate, we need to take the power out of Mitch McConnell’s hands. If Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff win their races in January, we can do just that. And we can finally act to save lives, just as we should have in 2012.

Chip in an urgent donation to support gun sense candidates today! The Georgia runoffs are just weeks away and we need to help Warnock and Ossoff run strong. EVERYTHING is at stake.

Thank you,

– Gun Safety PAC
