We hate to be blunt, but millions of Americans are staring down the barrel of a health and economic catastrophe. That’s no exaggeration.

If Mitch McConnell and the GOP fail to join Democrats and pass a government spending bill (especially one that includes COVID relief) the government WILL shut down. That means:

• 12 million Americans will lose unemployment benefits.
• Emergency paid leave will end.
• The moratorium on evictions will expire.
• Federally-funded COVID testing sites could close.
• Vaccine distribution efforts will come to a standstill.

What’s the GOP doing to help Democrats pass a bill? ZERO. They’re too busy enriching big corporations and entertaining Trump’s rigged election claims to do anything else.
