INSIDE: A special message from our Executive Director, a good explosion, and the answer to "What did a journalist say after moving to NH?"

Hi, Porcupine

It's that time of year! It's time for families to gather, old friends to reach out, and for nonprofits to hit you up for money! ([link removed] )

Since this is my first December fundraising effort as Executive Director, let me start by buttering you up. First, I'd like to thank you for being such a big fan of the Free State Project. No doubt, there is no charity in the world like ours.

Perhaps that's because our mission is so simple: We encourage people to believe in liberty and Live Free in New Hampshire. In fact, after 17+ years of libertarian concentration, let me give you an update: our strategy is working better now than it ever has before!

To summarize 2020:

- Already, more people have moved to New Hampshire for the Free State Project in 2020 than in any other year before, and there's still one more month to go in the year.
- Also, in the November 2020 election, no less than 30 people who moved to New Hampshire for the Free State Project WON their elections!
- Lastly, in spite of all the madness in 2020, the State of the Free State is strong. As evidence, our community has still continued to Live Free and have regular meetups all across New Hampshire!

Clearly, the enemies of liberty are on the run in the Live Free or Die state!

And for good measure, how about one more fact: By the end of 2020, we’re on pace to add 45% more new subscriptions to this newsletter than in 2019 & 2018 combined. At this point, it's safe to say there may be more interest in the Free State Project today than ever before.

With that said, do you want to see more success going into 2021, or do you want our 2020 momentum to slow down? Well, that's largely up to you.

Today, you have a chance to start making an impact every month, Porcupine ([link removed] ) .

Without a doubt, if only 10% of the people reading this email contributed even $25/month to the Free State Project, I'm certain we'd be able to reach at least four times as many believers in liberty in 2021 as we did in 2020. There's no doubt at all. By the way, imagine if that same 10% gave $100/month!

So, if you're able to give something every month, will you be one of those individuals to step up, or are you satisfied with the freedoms you have?

On our end, if you put your faith in the Free State Project every month ([link removed] ) - I promise, we will not let you down. But if you start contributing every month, and you ever start feeling like we let you down, you can cancel your monthly donations - because unlike the government, you can cancel your payments anytime!

Remember, the more you give/month ([link removed] ) , the more believers in liberty we can reach. With your help, we will expand our efforts, multiply our marketing programs, and make more important 1-on-1 connections. Then, we will bring those individuals to join us in New Hampshire!

Executive Director

PS: Are you able to be in that group of trusted people who steps up? ([link removed] ) Even if times are tough and you can only chip in $20/month, $15/month, or even only $5/month, we'd still greatly appreciate your generosity, and you'd be powering us into 2021. Thank you, Porcupine!

When is an Explosion a Good Thing?

Heeeeeee's baaaaaaack!

Once again, one of our board members has taken over our Twitter account ([link removed] ) . But this time, we're not sure if we'll ever get it back.

What effect has this one person had? Well, in November, our Twitter account exploded with:

- 325 Tweets
- 826,600 impressions
- 1,776 mentions (Yep, it's true: 1776. Coincidence?)

Now, our Twitter is back to being engaging, witty, and insightful. Yet, on the other hand, some of his Tweets are so explosive, they occasionally force us to consult our high-powered team of pro-bono lawyers. Kidding!

On a serious note, we're very thankful to have a Board of Directors that's so actively involved, as well as donating to the nonprofit they help guide ([link removed] ) .

Whether you're on Twitter or not, take a look at our spirited feed and consider following ([link removed] ) .

The Free State is 'Absolutely Amazing'!

Veteran, pro-liberty, independent journalist, Luke Rudkowski, announced he moved from New York City to New Hampshire for the Free State Project.

When we announced his move, our post reached nearly 21,000 people on Facebook ([link removed] ) - one of our most popular posts of the year.

How influential is Luke? Well, if his YouTube channel is any indication, it has over 145 million lifetime views!

In fact, in a recent video, Luke said:

"I always knew New Hampshire was the 'Live Free or Die' state, but learning some of the intricate details about how people live here has been absolutely amazing!"

What else has he learned about life in New Hampshire? Click here to skip ahead, watch the video, and find out ([link removed] ) . After watching his testimonial, share it with your friends.
