Take action for refugees.

Dear John,

Over the past three years, the Administration has attempted to ban entire groups of people from entering the United States. Each successive Muslim ban, refugee ban, and asylum ban has had its own devastating impact—but the fight is not over and we know that our collective efforts can still make a difference.

On Tuesday, September 24, in a historic hearing, Congress will review the NO BAN Act, H.R. 2214. If passed, this bill would repeal all versions of the Muslim ban, and would limit the broad executive authority that has allowed this country to turn away refugees because of who they are.

Call your Member of Congress to ask them to support the NO BAN Act.

Our Members of Congress have the opportunity to enact legislation to rescind these bans and we want to make sure this legislation has as much support as possible before Tuesday. As Americans, we are proud of our country's legacy as a place that welcomes people forced to flee their homes in search of safety. We need Members of Congress to commit to this ideal by supporting the NO BAN Act.

Join us in asking Members of Congress to sign on in support of the NO BAN Act.

HIAS and our supporters have fought against every iteration of the Muslim, refugee, and asylum bans. In the face of these bans, we are renewing our commitment to fight for a country that welcomes refugees and immigrants of all faiths.

Thank you,

Naomi Steinberg
