DON'T MISS THESE UPCOMING EVENTS 

 
We have a few important events coming up at the end of the year. The first event features our inaugural event of the Muslim Women's Civic Forum. This Forum will be a space where Muslim women convene and discuss issues and plan activities related to their civic leadership development. This Friday, we will be joined by two incredible women leaders in our community, Kadiatou Diallo and Hawa Bah. Both women have endured tremendous loss and will talk about how they've turned their grief into civic organizing. 

Secondly, as we're entering the holiday season, we are presenting a special diversity education speaker series on the role of Jesus in Islam. It is sure to be an enlightening conversation and we invite everyone to join in. And finally, we are calling for MENTORS to apply to our MYNYC Bridge Mentorship program. This is a program that allows professionals to connect with youth and help them through life and career. We present professional development workshops that can help both participants in the program. Be sure to check out the link to sign up!

As we launched our end of the year appeal on December 1st, we have 23 more days to reach our goal of raising $20,000! So far, we've raised $5,070. Please consider a donation to help support our work. There are many ways to do this: 

1. Donate today through our donation portal. 

2. Ask your employer about a giving program through which you can give to MCN and get your gift matched!
