Friend,Since 2010 the budget for the NYPD has increased by 2.7% annually. Rent has increased by 3.3% annually, and more people are struggling to pay.

SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE , but you didn’t need us to tell you that.

The city budget passed earlier this year started cutting funds from the NYPD. Cuts that do not go nearly far enough. In response to the mandate NYC residents made to defund the policy, Mayor de Blasio was quoted simply by saying “some people are never happy.” Those people are your constituents, Mr. Mayor.

Dianne must hit her fundraising goals to be on the ballot to implement real cuts to the NYPD budget. We need you to chip in $21. [[link removed]]

Dianne was on the frontlines with the people. The first mayoral candidate to call for Defunding the Police. Dianne wasn’t pandering, she knows that Black and Brown communities want to be safe, seen and heard. She has felt the harms of stop and frisk. Her call to defund the police makes sure there is #PoliticsForAllPeople.
