Welcome to another edition of FT Now! We hope you had a good - and safe
- Thanksgiving! First things first - New Hampshire is living up to its
"Live Free Or Die" motto under the leadership of GOP Gov. Chris Sununu.
Yet another Democrat politician has appeared to violate his own COVID-19
rules. Surprise, surprise. Lastly, President Obama is in hot water with
his party's radical, progressive wing. No, we didn't see that coming
either. Read below for more!

New Hampshire Ranked Most "Economically Free" State in Nation
What Happened:
Under GOP Governor Chris Sununu, a new report is giving New Hampshire
the top spot for most economically free state in America. The report
looks at metrics like government spending, taxes, and the ability to
start a business.
Why You Should Care:
Take it from Sununu himself, who said, "Our pro-jobs, pro-growth
economic agenda is paying off for New Hampshire families, allowing them
the freedom to spend their money as they see fit." Who wouldn't want
that?
What Happens Next:
Hopefully, other states follow New Hampshire's lead!

Louisiana Governor Dined Maskless at Country Club Despite Guidelines
What Happened:
Louisiana Democrat Gov. John Bel Edwards was seen dining at a country
club without a mask, even though his own guidelines require people to
wear masks in public. Still, Gov. Edwards has maintained he did nothing
wrong.
Why You Should Care:
Just days before Thanksgiving, Edwards told Louisianans to "always wear
your mask if you are around people not part of your immediate
household." It seems the governor can't be bothered to follow his own
advice. Moreover, Edwards is just the latest in a string of Democrat
politicians who seem to believe their own COVID rules don't apply to
them. Hypocrisy at its finest!
What Happens Next:
No doubt we'll see more politicians violating their own COVID rules
while also demanding compliance from everyday Americans.

"It's Not A Slogan. It's A Mandate"
What Happened:
Progressives aren't too happy with President Barack Obama. Yes, you
read that right. The former president apparently mocked the "Defund the
police" slogan, which didn't sit well with members of the Squad. Rep.
Ilhan Omar, for example, tweeted that defunding the police is "not a
slogan but a policy demand." Yikes.
Why You Should Care:
When Barack Obama isn't even liberal enough for today's far-left
Democratic Party, you know there's a problem.
What Happens Next:
There's a Civil War brewing within the Democratic Party with radicals
like AOC and Omar on one side, and establishment figures on the other.
Who will win? Time will tell.
