Here's what's going -

Republican attacks on Planned Parenthood are nothing new - but this one hit a new low: Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers claimed this week that comprehensive sex education leads to more abortions and STDs, and that Planned Parenthood fights for comprehensive sex education precisely for this reason. (We know, what???)

Here's what's even worse: Rep. Bowers made these remarks while speaking at an event sponsored by an anti-LGBTQ nonprofit that has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Legislators like Rep. Bowers aren't dealing with facts. They're making up their own "alternative facts" - and then attempting to turn them into laws that can hurt millions of Americans, including children.
