Months ago, the Democratic House passed necessary COVID-19 relief legislation. But the GOP-controlled Senate hasn’t passed any of it, instead choosing to rush through Trump’s Supreme Court nominee in time to try to overturn the Affordable Care Act.
This is long overdue, Americans need access to more relief — our small businesses are suffering, millions are still unemployed, and our hospitals and local health departments are overwhelmed.
This is especially critical for our veterans, who are overwhelmingly losing their jobs and experiencing higher rates of mental health issues and suicide.
We here at Go for Broke for Veterans are dedicated to fighting for our nation’s heroes.
