Affordable, high-quality childcare is critical for all parents of young children. Too many Massachusetts families worry about the escalating costs of childcare and the impact on their family's budget.

Childcare services should add value to the lives of everyone involved: an enriching experience for children; peace of mind and flexibility for parents; and stable, fair compensation for the childcare workers.

Urge Congress to make childcare more affordable. Sign the petition.

Our current system isn't providing that outcome. This is unacceptable, and it's time for Congress to take action. Let's demand that Congress make the wealthy and big corporations finally pay their fair share so that we can:

* expand access to affordable preschool and pre-kindergarten programs,
* make childcare affordable for all working families.,
* expand paid family leave,
* and make sure childcare workers are compensated fairly.

Join me in urging my colleagues in Congress to make childcare more affordable now.
