Dear John, We’re excited to announce that the WE ARE ALL IN campaign has drawn over 400 signatories, around two-thirds of which represent companies of all sizes. We’ve heard from many partner business associations that because of the Thanksgiving break, their first emails went out this week, so we expect the number to increase significantly in the coming days. Companies that have signed-on are from a wide range of sectors including food and agriculture, energy, packaging, real estate, hospitality, healthcare, retail, tech, chemical, apparel and more. They range in size from a few employees to multi-billion dollar companies with tens of thousands of employees. In addition to signing on yourself, we are asking you to reach out to your networks and ask them to sign as well. You can find sample initial and follow-up outreach emails here. Text of the sign-on letter itself is here. The deadline is next Wednesday, Dec. 9th. There will be a public release on the 5th anniversary of the Paris Agreement so while we are encouraging you to share with others who might sign on, please do not share publicly or post on social media or websites. We know that many businesses are seeking ways to make a difference in the climate emergency. Signing-on to this statement is a concrete and simple way for businesses to help. Thank you for being part of the chorus of business voices who are working to send a strong signal to the incoming administration and Congress that economic growth and recovery through climate action is vital.
