Team,

In November, we gave Joe Biden and Kamala Harris a resounding mandate, with over 80 million votes in the popular vote and counting.

Our mandate: Fix the broken response to the coronavirus, create an economy that works for everyone, help protect our planet from the ravages of climate change, and provide racial justice, economic justice, environmental justice, and social justice for every American.

Our problem: Unelected Senator Kelly Loeffler and Senator David Perdue are the last obstacles to the American people being able to hold the Biden administration to that mandate. If they win in January, Mitch McConnell will keep control of the Senate and continue to kill any bills put forward by Democrats for the next 2, maybe even 4, years. To ensure that we get the change we elected Joe Biden for, we must remove BOTH of these Re-Trump-licans.

Our solution: Right now, millions of dollars from both sides are being poured into Georgia. Team, we have to realize that this is not a persuasion election, an attempt to get partisan voters to cross party lines. This is a turnout election, but right now most of that money is going to urban areas where Democrats are already turning out in huge numbers. This means that many of the rural areas in Georgia are going untouched — a critical mistake that could cost us these elections.

We need your help to win the turnout battle we are fighting with Loeffler, Perdue and the GOP. Can you give $20 RIGHT NOW to help us implement our rural outreach strategy throughout December?

This is where Georgia Blue Project's strategy comes into play. Our best shot at winning both runoff elections is to refocus not only on turnout in urban areas, but to find Democrats in rural areas and get them to the polls. While we won't flip every county in Georgia blue, every vote we get will shave down the margin of victory for Re-Trump-licans and bring Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff closer to victory.

Our team is in the process of working with multiple grassroots organizations, like the Sunrise Movement, inside and outside of Georgia to create targeted ads aimed at getting rural Democrats, specifically Democratic youth and Black male voters, energized and voting in high numbers. Thanks to previous contributions from supporters, we were able to reach 200,000+ voters during the general election, helping push Joe Biden in rural areas that ultimately allowed a Democrat to win Georgia for the first time in 24 years. We aim to reach even more voters in the special election runoffs with your help.

Team, our mandate will be meaningless if we cannot safeguard the Biden administration from Mitch McConnell and Re-Trump-lican obstructionism. Will you chip in $20 or whatever you can give RIGHT NOW to help the Georgia Blue Project turn out rural Democrats and run up the numbers to help defeat Loeffler and Perdue in January?
