Join HIAS for two special events this holiday season, as we shine the light of
welcome for refugees and asylum seekers in the U.S.
Dear John,
Over the past four years, our values of welcome, dignity, and safety for all
have truly been tested. Each year on Hanukkah, we light the hanukkiyah and shine light into the darkness, and this year that light is more meaningful
than ever before. Join HIAS for two special events this holiday season, as we
regroup and prepare together for the hard work that lies ahead to rebuild safe
and humane protection for refugees and asylum seekers in the U.S.
Please join us.

come together for an hour of learning and action. We will light the candles
together, so bring your hanukkiyah and get ready to celebrate a return to our values of welcome, dignity, and
safety for all. Award-winning musician and educator, Shira Kline, will join us
