John—
After 16 years with NARAL, the battles we're fighting for reproductive freedom are just as challenging today as they were on day one. Thankfully, the staff, board, and our members are just as inspiring, too.
When I think about my time here, I'm floored by all that we have been through together — the Kerry/Edwards campaign, the Bush years, the fight for the Affordable Care Act; all of the SCOTUS nominations (standing with justices who have upheld our reproductive freedom and against terrible ones like...well, you know who I'm talking about).
We have seen a lot together. And there hasn't been a single battle during my tenure — or in NARAL's proud 50 years — that didn't have our members’ fingerprints all over it.
That’s why it’s high time we celebrate the tenacity and persistence of our incredible community — many whom have been with us on this journey since the very beginning.
Take a moment to send your messages of how long you've been fighting with us, why you’re a part of this movement, and why it’s important to be a reproductive freedom voter in 2020.
NARAL would be nothing if it were not for our victories, lessons learned through defeats, and most importantly, our members who propelled us through it all with grace and grit. That's you, John.
As we celebrate our long history and look toward the future, we will be honored by special guests — Hillary Clinton, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Stacey Abrams, and more — who will reflect on how NARAL’s presence has propelled our fight for reproductive freedom. But no voice is more important than yours!
Will you take a moment to share with us why you’re a NARAL member and a reproductive freedom voter?
Thanks for fighting with us,

Amy Everitt Vice President for Special Projects, NARAL Pro-Choice America
