John, Trump may announce he’s running again on Inauguration Day.

 

We will do everything in our power to ensure he never steps foot in the White House again.

 

Trump will never admit that he lost the election.

 

He’ll never acknowledge or accept responsibility for the death and destruction that occurred on his watch—nor will he admit to the corruption, pillaging, and fraud committed at his command.

 

But he’s even more delusional than we imagined if he thinks he should run for president again.

 

A historic coalition of unprecedented proportion and breadth across the political spectrum delivered a repudiation of Donald Trump unlike any electoral defeat in modern history.

 

There’s a problem with Trump’s plan to reclaim the White House:

 

We, the patriotic majority of Americans who denied Trump a second term and elected Joe Biden, are not going anywhere.

 

John, we all must be committed to crushing Trumpism, regardless of Trump’s second term aspirations. The future of our Republic depends on it.

 

We guarantee that if Trump decides to run again and continue to pollute our politics, upend our norms, and tarnish our democracy, he will have to go through us.

 

Every Trump cabal crime will be exposed.

 

Every quid pro quo, every self-serving backroom deal, and every time he sold out our country will be known around the world.

 

We promise to make this lesson in the rule of law, patriotism, and free speech as painful as possible for Trump and his co-conspirators.

 

You have our word. But we can only be as loud and as effective as we are many.

 

We need you to continue standing up for our country and standing with us, John.
