Tens of thousands of people — young and old, all over the world — are going on strike tomorrow by walking out of their classrooms, their offices, and their homes to call for bold action on climate. We're running out of time to avert full-on climate catastrophe, and if we want change, we need to demand it! Greta Thunberg didn't know what would happen a year ago when she began her solitary school strike outside the Parliament building in her hometown of Stockholm, Sweden.

She didn't know if anyone would join her. She just knew she had to do something to call out global inaction on climate change.

This Friday, September 20, millions of people across the world will join her and go on strike — together we'll demand urgent action to stop the climate crisis and push for solutions that will cut dangerous carbon pollution and move us to a 100% clean energy future.
