We’re closing in on the end of the quarter, John, and that means we have a crucial deadline coming up.

It’s not a normal deadline either: This is the first quarter since a new opponent who has President Trump’s endorsement announced that he’s going to enter our race. Not only does he have Trump’s support, but he’s also a former member of the White House administration and has a ton of high-level connections to Washington elites and special interests that will fuel his campaign.

And he’s not the only one we’re up against. There’s also an anti-choice extremist who gave his campaign $1 million of his own money.

While I don’t have that option, I do have this grassroots team. And I know we can keep up.

At the end of the month, our numbers will go public for the whole world to see -- including my opponents. We need to show that we have what it takes to compete, so we’ve set a $50,000 end-of-quarter goal that we need to meet before September is over.
