Hey folks, I hope everyone had a great holiday.

I wanted to send a quick note ahead of the end of this unprecedented month.

We saw the best of America (Joe Biden won the presidency with more votes than any other candidate in history!) and the worst (Donald Trump is still running roughshod over our norms and values).

We’re seeing more COVID-19 cases than at any point before in this pandemic. And as a result, many Americans celebrated Thanksgiving without friends and family.

It’s left my head spinning, but I also see the light at the end of the tunnel. Inauguration Day approaches. There’s promising news of a COVID-19 vaccine. And Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are hard at work on a presidential transition, no matter what Trump thinks he can get away with.

So I’m busy holding Trump accountable to the very end and preparing to work hand-in-hand with the Biden-Harris administration to pass legislation through the House in January.

There’s a lot to do. We’ve accomplished so much, and yet we’re just getting started.
