This learning experience aims to provide a space for participants to learn about community violence, its root causes as well as the strategies to address community violence utilizing systems thinking.

The Community Justice Action Fund and Cities United are partnering together to host a 4-day
virtual learning camp on gun violence in communities of color from Monday December 7th, through Thursday December 11th.
The learning camp aims to provide a space for participants to learn about community violence,
its root causes, as well as strategies to address community violence utilizing systems thinking.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn from panels of leading experts;
- Connect to peers in small group settings;
- Apply information learned in daily workshops;
- Receive specific action steps during daily wrap-ups.
Topics for each day include (subject to change):
- Day 1: Illustrating the Complexities of Community Violence
- Day 2: Interrupting the Cycle of Community Violence
- Day 3: Addressing Root Causes of Community Violence
- Day 4: Elevating the Role of Healing
- Day 5: Social Event! No panels or workshops.
