A new super PAC just announced that they've raised nearly $10 million from some of the state's biggest GOP donors. Their focus? Paying people to stand outside of DPS offices, asking inflammatory and fact-free questions about abortion, and then registering those they can to vote.

What these big Super PACs and GOP political consultants don't get is that they've hit the ceiling. Roger Williams' extremist policy priorities -- like tax cuts for multinational corporations, and unfettered access to weapons of war -- are unpopular in Texas. And decades of mismanagement and corruption have left everyone scrambling for the exits. 

The good news is that the people are with us, and there’s strength in numbers.

Still, we cannot risk being heavily outspent. We are determined to register and turn out more Democratic voters than any Congressional campaign in Texas history -- not just so that we can get Julie eleced, but so that we can flip every Texas House seat we can to stop another 10 years of extremist and racial gerrymandering.
