Dear John,

It’s true. Infuriating, but true.

Even in 2019, pregnancy discrimination persists, and it costs women and families terribly.

Women are still losing jobs for becoming pregnant, still getting passed over for promotions, and still being denied reasonable workplace accommodations — such as places to sit, bathroom breaks or carrying water bottles.

That's why the National Partnership's policy expert Alex Baptiste was speaking on Capitol Hill today and urging Congress to end pregnancy discrimination.

But even with bipartisan support, this commonsense bill has not successfully made it through Congress in the past.

That’s why the National Partnership will not rest until the economic stability of our nation’s families is no longer at risk and pregnancy discrimination is a thing of the past!

Tell your members of Congress to join the bipartisan effort to support the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act today.

Take Action

Thanks for all that you do!

Debra Ness Sincerely,
Debra Ness Signature
