This past weekend on NewsMax TV, Republican lawyer Sidney Powell, a member of Trump's legal team, levied baseless and bizarre claims of election rigging in Georgia. Powell believes that Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger were somehow bribed by long-dead Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez to give the election to Biden and block Doug Collins's road to a potential runoff. 

Powell was dismissed from the Trump legal team shortly thereafter.

Coming from the GOP, this isn't crazy, it's business as usual. What is truly bizarre is that David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler both believe these same lies — lies that would jeopardize their own races. And now, thanks to Powell's u accusations, employees at Dominion Voting Systems have received intimidating messages and death threats.

Republicans have been so caught up in their tangled web of lies that they can't tell which lies hurt or help them. But team, we know who and what they are really damaging when they continue down this destructive path — the American people and our democracy.

We simply can't allow another six years of David Perdue and two years of Kelly Loeffler eating away at the foundations of our republic.
