On this Thanksgiving, we’re so thankful for our tremendous supporters. Because of your work, your donations, and your dedication, we were able to lead the fight to elect great veteran advocates to Congress — including flipping Arizona for veteran Mark Kelly in the Senate!
We know from our veterans and from our great supporters that democracy takes year-round work; it takes sacrifices for the greater good.
So we hope you’ll join us and remain dedicated to doing the right thing for our communities and our country and continue to follow the CDC guidelines this Thanksgiving.
- They recommend postponing travel and staying home when possible.
- If you do have to travel for Thanksgiving, monitor the situation in both your hometown and your destination, along with your own health — remain vigilant.
- Wear a mask to protect yourself and others around you.
- Stay at least 6 feet away from people who do not live with you and for 14 days prior to travel, do not come into contact with people who do not live with you.
- Wash your hands consistently for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
- Consider making any gathering outdoors and bring your own food, utensils, and drinks.
We’re so honored to have you in our corner as we build up our plans for 2022’s elections. Stay safe and have a happy Thanksgiving!
— Go of Broke for Veterans
We here at Go for Broke for Veterans are dedicated to fighting for our nation’s heroes. Founded by Democratic members of the House’s Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, the goal of Go for Broke for Vets is to fight back against Trump and his allies' attempts to undercut the work the committee does to help our vets. Your support is critical to ensuring that we can elect more members of Congress to support our veterans.
