Hi John,

Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday season and a time to reflect and give thanks for our many blessings.

This year has been a challenge for everyone. Many have lost loved ones. Even more have lost their livelihoods. Parents have tried to manage working from home while homeschooling their kids. Grandparents have missed out on birthdays and other milestones to stay healthy.

But as dark as many of the days have seemed, there have been many moments of grace, humanity and goodwill that have swept through our communities.

We had more opportunities for family dinners at home and bedtime stories. We developed an extra appreciation for the roof over our heads and the food in our refrigerators.

Many have also opened their eyes to the blessing of the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Freedoms that have been tested by this virus and those managing it. We give thanks to all of our fellow patriots, and most importantly, our brave men and women in our armed services, who sacrifice so much so we can live freely.

We also give special thanks to our men and women in law enforcement who bravely put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Because if we are not safe, we are not free.

We give thanks to our incredible health care and other front line workers who have worked tirelessly for the last nine months.

We give thanks to President Trump and the entire COVID Task Force who worked to get New York everything it needed, and through Operation Warp Speed, has allowed for the creation of an effective vaccine that will mark the single most significant healthcare achievement in a century.

Finally, I give thanks to all of you who have contributed in some way to our New York Republican Party. Everyone, from our poll workers, to our campaign volunteers, to our donors, to our candidates, elected officials, and more...you have all played an invaluable role in our mission to create a strong and prosperous America and New York.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead the NYGOP and help deliver a bright future for all New Yorkers. From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,
