John,

I just wanted to take a moment before the holiday to let you know how thankful I am to have you on our team.

From the folks who have stood with us since I first announced my candidacy in the primary, to those who stepped in to help us cross the finish line in the general election, and those who are signing on now — I am so grateful for every single person who has joined us in this fight.

I also want to share that I was unanimously elected by my fellow freshman House Democrats as our Representative to Leadership. I am deeply honored to have been elected to the House leadership team, and to be part of a freshman class of history-makers. Together, we will build our nation back better than ever.

Thank you again for fighting alongside me. I am most thankful this year that the future of our grassroots movement is going to be a force to be reckoned with — in Congress, in New York’s 17th Congressional District, and across the nation.
