The kind of grassroots organizing that flipped Georgia blue in a presidential election for the first time in 28 years doesn’t happen overnight.

Organizers on the ground in Georgia have worked for years to register new and infrequent voters and fight rampant voter suppression.

One of the key groups doing this work is Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight. After widespread voter suppression kept her out of the Georgia Governor’s office in 2018, Stacey started Fair Fight to continue registering, organizing, and mobilizing Georgia voters.

Fair Fight played a key role in flipping Georgia blue for President-elect Joe Biden, and they’re going to play a key role in flipping Georgia’s two Senate seats — and the Senate as a whole — blue on January 5.
