The Watson family joins us in wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving! On behalf of our entire Children's Law Center family, thank you for being a part of our community! Together, we can help more than 5,000 children each year heal, learn and thrive, putting them on a path to a brighter future. Every child deserves to grow up with a stable family, good health and a quality education. Even as this pandemic has raised many new challenges, Children’s Law Center remains a trusted partner, advocate and problem-solver for children and families in need. Families like the Watsons are especially grateful for your partnership this year. Over the span of 15 years, we worked with Ms. Watson to get her children the educational services and safe and healthy housing they needed. Thanks to her tenacity, her kids are thriving – even through the pandemic. Now, as a parent representative, Ms. Watson is using her voice to empower other families to do the same. I know Thanksgiving might look different for you and your family this year, but I am so thankful to see our community come together to fight for DC’s kids during these hard times. With gratitude, Judith Sandalow P.S. Register now to join our next Community Conversation on Wednesday, December 2 from 12-1pm ET. We will highlight how Children’s Law Center is providing legal assistance to ensure children’s health is not imperiled by unsafe housing; provide information about upcoming healthy housing legislation; and share results from our innovative partnerships with Medicaid Managed Care Organizations and community health clinics.
