Beer industry leaders join forces to drive beer growth with launch of “Beers To That” campaign

Today, the Beer Growth Initiative – a collaborative project of the Beer Institute (BI), National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) and the Brewers Association (BA) – announced the initial market launch of its “Beers To That” consumer campaign, which aims to elevate and celebrate the beer category while reminding consumers of legal drinking age who choose to drink alcohol that there is a beer for just about every occasion.

Here’s what’s brewing in the new Smithsonian Beer Collections

The Smithsonian has launched the first national-scale, scholarly research and collecting project to gather and preserve the artifacts, documents and voices associated with the beer industry’s craft revolution. New food delivery robots working out kinks at Purdue, including how to cross streets

A week after their official launch, the Starship Technologies delivery robots are still learning the best way to navigate around campus — including crossing several busy streets — to deliver food and drinks to customers. West Lafayette Development Director Erik Carlson said the city had been in touch with Starship and had been tracking comments on social media about “some issues involving the little guys getting confused while crossing the street.”

$29K in donations still pouring in for Iowa State fan's beer money fundraiser

What started out as a joke to get more money for beer has turned into a fundraising initiative raising thousands for an Iowa children's hospital. Carson King, a 23-year-old Iowa State Cyclones fan, is raising money for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital after his “Busch Light supply needs replenished” sign went viral.
