control of the Senate rages on.

On January 5, Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock will face off
against incumbent Senate Republicans David Perdue and Kelly
Loeffler in Georgia's runoff election.

Control of Congress hinges on these two races. Without huge wins
in Georgia, Mitch McConnell retains his post as Senate Majority
leader - and Joe Biden will have an incredibly difficult time
getting his priorities through the gridlock of a GOP-held Senate.

I can speak from personal experience when I say the U.S. House
stands ready to work with the Biden-Harris administration on
urgent priorities like COVID-19 relief. After all, we've already
sent legislation to the Senate to help families and small
businesses weather the storm this winter - but Mitch McConnell
hasn't touched it.

It's a story that's been repeated over and over again throughout
the past two years on gun safety, LGBTQ rights, healthcare, and
so much more: The House passes a bill. The Senate does nothing.

We have a chance to change the narrative and give Joe Biden a
Democratic Senate, so he can implement his progressive agenda and
start to repair the damage of 4 years of Donald Trump and his GOP
cronies.

President-elect Biden's nominees and policy proposals. So,
