Lyft is reportedly considering jumping into the food delivery game like their competitor, Uber. In the company's most recent quarterly earnings call, Lyft reported losing about $240 million in the third quarter of 2020. The company discussed jumping into the third-party delivery space, joining more than a few existing competitors. Lyft believes they have a solution that will lower delivery fees, which could help them stand out -- if they can pull it off.
