According to a new report by The Daily Beast, David Perdue profited tens of thousands of dollars from stock trades — purchasing them and crafting the legislation to make their value soar, all before dumping them for a healthy profit. 

Perdue purchased up to $190,000 of stock in BWX Technologies, a supplier of Navy submarine parts, right before he was put in charge of the Senate subcommittee with jurisdiction over the Navy. It just so happens that it was his very first time investing in the company.  

When Perdue was caught selling casino stocks after a private Senate briefing revealed the pending impact of the coronavirus pandemic, he denied any involvement in the trades made by "outside financial advisors." It's the same song and dance today — despite Perdue's refusal to put his assets in a blind trust.   

David Perdue thinks you should just take his word for it that he's a good and honest man.

Recent history tell us otherwise — that there are no lows that David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler won't stoop to if it benefits them personally. Our representatives took an oath to protect their constituents — instead, Perdue and Loeffler have used their access to pad their pockets and improve their stock portfolios while we all are suffering because of a pandemic that Republicans refuse to control or even acknowledge. 

With issues like healthcare, racial justice, police reform, and economic recovery on the ballot, Georgia can't afford to send another self-absorbed politician to Washington who doesn't care about us. 

Friend, we have to act fast. The Secretary of State's office is already mailing absentee ballots, and we have to make sure that turnout in January stays at the record highs we witnessed in November.
