It’s been over two weeks since Election Day, and 12 days since all major news networks called the presidential race for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

This thing is over, and the Biden-Harris administration is getting down to the important work of a presidential transition.

But… Donald Trump hasn’t conceded yet.

Instead of working hard to stop the spread of the latest surge of COVID-19, he’s tweeting baseless conspiracy theories about voter fraud and filing pointless lawsuits in swing states – states he lost by thousands of votes!

By refusing to accept the results of the election, he is putting the very core of our democracy at stake. Will you add your name to this petition to demand Trump stop harming our democracy and concede to Joe Biden?

Not only does this refusal to accept the results harm the traditions of the peaceful transition of power – but it also is blocking the incoming Biden-Harris administration from accessing critical transition resources that they need to hit the ground running in January.

Folks, there’s so much at stake here. COVID-19 cases are skyrocketing to the worst point yet in this pandemic. The economic crisis continues unabated as Mitch McConnell’s Senate refuses to pass the Heroes Act, a COVID-19 relief bill that has already passed the House.

And yet Donald Trump is ignoring all that to turn his efforts and energy toward undermining the results of the 2020 election.

It’s time for him to go. If he doesn’t want to do the job of President of the United States, let Joe Biden get to work.

We need to speak with one voice on this. Tell Donald Trump: Concede the election and let Joe Biden get to work repairing the soul of our nation!
