Warning: Explicit hot takes on how our campaign stole the election from President Trump... and from President-Elect Biden...

John,

You won’t believe the messages I’ve been getting since election day.

According to Trump’s most diehard supporters, I and my 1.8 million supporters were solely responsible for the President’s defeat. Here are a few of their “well-reasoned, thoughtful” comments:

“F** you mother f***ing c***”

“Thanks for destroying America!”

“Well Jo, hope you're happy. You really helped elect Joe Biden, a far cry from a Libertain (sic). In Arizona you cost Trump the the (sic) state.”

“…You stole those much needed votes. Now we are entering into socialism. Shame on you…”

“you are the reason we have a "president" Biden you dumb f***ing c***.”

Ouch!

You’d think Biden supporters would be showering me with praise for delivering the election to their man. Nope.

“The 50,000 votes you received in Arizona would have gone to Biden and it would not have been such a close contention in that state.”

“Why? when knowing this election was about 1 thing and 1 thing only, would you run and take votes away from Biden?”

The Trump fans honestly believe you all would have voted for Trump -- if only I hadn’t been on the ballot. Meanwhile, the Biden voters think you all would have voted Biden. They don’t have a clue.

I know from campaigning all across America that the vast majority of my support came from people like you, who were never going to vote for Trump or Biden.

And I have yet to hear from a single person who voted for me expressing regret that they “wasted their vote”. Quite the contrary. Thousands posted pictures on social media declaring that they had proudly “wasted their vote” by voting for what they truly wanted, rather than be bullied and shamed into voting for the lesser of two evils. And they’ve been writing to me as well.

“…I believe you were the best candidate for this election. Your approach to national problems were unbiased and logically thought through. I believe you would be a fantastic leader. Please run in the next election.”

“You're one of the most well researched and articulate candidates I've ever seen”

“…Please Please Please Run Again!!!!”

“Thank you all! Please do not give up. There are more Libertarians than ever.”

“If Jo is running in 2024, I will not only support her, I will volunteer.”

“I applaud you for running against the two main parties in this country.”

“Please run in 2024!!! America needs saving …”

And this message from a soldier:

“Ma’am, I hope you run again in 4 years because I’m going to try and get your name out there as much as I can. Please don’t give up, give it another shot next election.”

Now it’s far too early to think about running again in four years. But it’s not too early to begin organizing and building support so whoever the Libertarian nominee is in four years can far exceed our results, and create even more unhappy Democrats and Republicans.

I and many members of our campaign team will be doing just that for the next four years. We can’t wait to get started.

But first we have to close down the 2020 campaign. There are final bills that have to be paid. And we have to pay every single one of them before the FEC will allow us to terminate the committee and stop filing reports.

I’m a lifelong libertarian – and I hate filing government forms. I want to complete work on the 2020 campaign so I can turn my full attention to helping state and local candidates, and laying the foundation for a record-setting 2024 presidential campaign.

Will you help me pay these remaining bills so we can put the 2020 campaign to bed and concentrate on the future?
