New York is in fiscal crisis and we are facing a $63 BILLION budget deficit, but Andrew Cuomo is still getting a $25,000 pay raise in January, making him the HIGHEST PAID GOVERNOR IN AMERICA at $250,000 a year.
We already knew he has no shame, but this is downright unconscionable.
He doesn't deserve a raise--he deserves to be FIRED.
More than a million New Yorkers have fled our state since Cuomo was elected governor and it's only accelerated under his deadly mismanagement of covid and the destruction of our criminal justice system.
There are no depths to which this governor won't sink to profit off the backs of New Yorkers.
- He filled his campaign coffers with $100 million of corrupt pay-to-play money that gave sweetheart deals and tax breaks to his wealthy donors.
- He still won't disclose how much he made from his grotesque covid book deal that he wrote after sentencing more than 12,000 seniors to their early graves.
- Now, as New Yorkers are unemployed and struggling under his highest in the nation taxes and worst business climate, he is giving himself a fat raise.
CUOMO MUST BE STOPPED. We are already setting our sights on 2022 and finally getting rid of this corrupt, greedy governor who only looks out for himself.
