With his trademark dry wit, Dr. Fauci has responded to the threat that former Trump advisor Steve Bannon issued against his very life -- but there’s nothing at all funny about wishing mortal harm on another human being, a fellow American citizen, and our leading infectious disease expert -- especially in the middle of a pandemic.
We want Bannon to slink away to spend the rest of his days under a rock, along with the rest of Trump’s disgraced friends and allies. We want Dr. Fauci kept completely safe from all manner of alt-right fanatics -- and we want the good doctor rewarded for all the work he’s done to keep us safe for the past several months (that have felt like several years).
Many are suggesting that Anthony Fauci be PROMOTED to Secretary of Health and Human Services. We like that idea, and we think it’s a perfect way to reward the doctor and dismiss his detractors -- but we need to hear what YOU think right now:
