Dear Resident,
In these challenging times, I know that restrictions on social interaction has made it hadrer for me to meet as many residents on a regular basis as I did prior to lockdown. However, through the means of modern technology we can now get inside each other’s offices or living rooms through the magic of Zoom. With that in mind I would like to invite local residents to a Zoom chat at 1400 on Friday 20th November for about an hour. In order to make the meeting manageable, I will select the first 30 people who respond to this email and then provide them with the link to join in the conversation. I will ask everyone to be on mute and will ask people who wish to make a point or ask a question to indicate they wish to do so in the chat facility in Zoom. A member of my staff will help facilitate the meeting and will call people to speak in turn. I have used this method in the past and it works well and allows everyone to have a say and hear to response. If we are deluged by applications, and you don’t get in the first 30, don’t worry as we will try and run another.
