Friend,

Georgia's votes are undergoing a recount, but one thing is certain — President-elect Joe Biden's lead is too great to change the outcome. Donald John Trump lost this election by a landslide — more than 5 million votes and counting. For only the 11th time in history, an incumbent president has lost his election. For the 1st time in history, a president has lost the popular vote twice.

And yet, the Republican Party is standing back, standing by, and allowing Trump to throw a tantrum and undermine the presidential transition by refusing to concede on his way out.

Mitch McConnell has stopped most of his majority from acknowledging reality, despite the court system repeatedly shutting down the Trump legal team's efforts to change the outcome of the election.

Republican senators are not acknowledging President-elect Biden's victory because if they do, they risk losing key support from Trump's base in our two Senate special elections that will decide the Senate majority.

If we elect Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff to the United States Senate on January 5th, we will have the Democratic majority needed to let the Biden-Harris Administration govern unimpeded. This means progress on so many important priorities, including passing a coronavirus relief bill that puts cash in the hands of millions of Americans who have struggled economically since this crisis began. We simply cannot afford another term of Mitch McConnell stonewalling progress while we navigate the worst public health crisis our nation has faced in 100 years.

Chip in $26 to fund the Georgia Blue Project's voter turnout ads for each Senate race so that on January 5th we can use our own power to secure this victory and elect Reverend Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

Rarely has one state meant so much to a president's first 100 days in office. Georgia has the opportunity now to change the course of history — help us seize this moment.
