NBC News and CNN just projected that Joe Biden is the apparent winner of Georgia.
Republicans are swarming Georgia with millions of advertising dollars and shamelessly spreading the coronavirus by hosting rallies with no masks and little social distancing. They can try to project strength — but we will prove ours again by mobilizing the votes needed to elect two Democratic senators in Georgia's January 5th special runoff election.
November 18th is the first day the Secretary of State's office will begin mailing out absentee ballots for the January 5th special election — but Georgia voters can request their absentee ballot RIGHT NOW.
Let's remind each other what's at stake: if Republicans take even one Senate seat in Georgia, the Biden administration will be forced to contend with years of Mitch McConnell's obstruction, blocking progress on our most urgent priorities. With Reverend Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the Senate, we can replace Mitch McConnell as majority leader and get to work reversing the damage done by Donald Trump and his Senate enablers.
