Team,

Today, on Veterans Day, I want to take this moment to thank all those who serve in uniform for their courage and their sacrifices.

The freedoms we enjoy as a nation are born from the many sacrifices of our veterans and their families. The brave men and women who have worn the uniform, and who today put their lives on the line in defense of our democracy, deserve our deepest respect and gratitude.

I'm thinking of them today, but honoring our veterans doesn't begin and end on one day in November. As a society, we must ensure these men and women receive the support and dignity they deserve when they return home.

See, long after the holiday in their honor passes each year, too many of our vets still struggle as they transition from military service to civilian life. Above all, the sacrifices of our veterans warrant our solemn commitment to providing high-quality health care, education, and employment opportunities.

I am committed to fighting for policies that support our veterans - policies that not only honor our veterans for all they've given our nation but help uplift their communities. Together, let's ensure that we take care of our veterans today and every day.
