In 2018, GOP women watched from the sidelines as a wave of Democrat women were elected. We vowed to make a difference and invested in women like never before. And it paid off!
WFW Action Fund, the SuperPAC arm of Winning For Women, helped fill a big and important hole in the GOP political ecosystem by investing nearly $3 million in key races.
This year, it's officially The Year of the Republican Woman. Election Highlights
House Candidates Filed: 228 (previous record 133) House Nominees: 94 (previous record 53) House Incumbents Up For Re-Election: 11 House Wins: 11 incumbents, 13 candidates – 24 total (previous GOP record is 25)
Senate Candidates Filed: 23 Senate Nominees: 8 Senate Incumbents Up For Re-Election: 6 Senate Wins: 5 incumbents, 1 candidate – 6 total
Of the 24 women elected to the House, 23 are WFW endorsed candidates! The record number of GOP women in the House is 25, and we're well on our way to passing that as we await results for 8 more WFW endorsed candidates. ![]() Plus, six of the eight GOP House flips were by women!
