John,
Two Senate seats are up for grabs in Georgia, and Democratic candidates Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff have both advanced to a primary in early January.
The only realistic path to a Senate majority — or a tie — is with one or both of these Georgia seats. We need all hands on deck to ensure that we flip both of these seats.
Georgia is still counting votes for the Presidential election, but Joe Biden is on the precipice of flipping the state. Democrats have laid the groundwork to win elections here, but turning out voters for a January election will be difficult — especially with the pandemic still in full force.
Mitch McConnell is counting on Democrats to tune out and give up now that Election Day has passed so that he can keep his majority and obstruct any progressive legislation that the House passes, from expanding healthcare access to protecting voting rights.
Thank you so much for your support. With Rev. Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the Senate and myself in the House, we’ll work to make sure all Americans have a fighting chance.
Onward,
Mondaire
