As mayor of the city of Milwaukie, Oregon, Mark has championed one of the most ambitious climate action plans in the state which includes establishing zero carbon emissions by 2050, a $15-an-hour minimum wage for all city employees and increasing the city’s investments in affordable housing, green spaces, and biking infrastructure.

Rep. Schrader has bent to corporate interests time and again by voting for legislation that causes environmental and social harm. He refuses to co-sponsor the Green New Deal. It's no surprise, afterall, he’s accepted $414,000 in corporate PAC donations this election cycle alone, and most are coming from health care, big pharma, forestry, insurance, and oil and gas industries.
In 2018, Schrader voted in favor of a bill to allow liquefied natural gas permits without delay. He's voted with Trump to weaken environmental laws and allow corporations to log on public lands. And just recently, Schrader voted against raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
Mark is fighting against the clock to help the people in his district. While Rep. Schrader continues to take corporate funds and vote against the needs of his people, Mark Gamba will fight every day for his people.
