Thank you.

I'm grateful to you, to the voters in Oregon, and to everyone on Team Merkley all across this country. Winning re-election by a resounding margin is a testament to the hard work and dedication we've put in together.

I'm confident that when all the votes are counted, Joe Biden will win the White House. We will put an end to the tragic presidency of Donald Trump, and begin to get America back on track.

Unfortunately, this election was not the massive repudiation of Trump that we hoped for. As it was at the start of this campaign, the path to a Senate majority is very tenuous. I know those are disappointments.

But make no mistake: the tremendous work of this whole team in campaigns across the country has been incredibly important. We may not have won all the races we wanted to, but we have fought for justice, for opportunity, for the right of everyone to live in dignity and safety. That's incredibly important. And it's a foundation on which we will continue to build.

Our work isn't over. There is at least one key Senate seat in Georgia still in play, and possibly two and the Senate majority. We have made progress, but the hard work of returning power to the people goes on, and I'm counting on you to be right there with me every single day.

Again, thank you. Thank you for your support and for your partnership in this fight.

Onward!

Jeff
