John,

Our first slate of WV Can't Wait pledge-signers has made it into office. Congratulations to these 11 standard bearers.

They are:
Del. Danielle Walker, 51st District Delegate
Del. Cody Thompson, 43rd District Delegate
Tia Rumbaugh, Huntington City Council
Gabe Roush, Pt. Pleasant City Council
Cory Roman, Martinsburg City Council
Rosemary Ketchum, Wheeling City Council
Donna Joy, Jefferson County School Board
Rick Griffith, 19th District Delegate
Anthony Ciliberti, Fayette County Prosecutor
Eron Chek, Hancock County Commission
Jim Barach, 36th District Delegate

Among these women and men are trailblazers. Rosemary Ketchum is the first openly transgender public official in West Virginia history. Cory Roman is the first Black and youngest ever City Councilman in Martinsburg. Danielle Walker won more votes in her primary than any other candidate for Delegate.

A tremendous thank you to these elected officials and to every last WV Can't Wait candidate who put their name on the ballot this year. Your runs inspired us. Grew our skills. Made us stronger.

WV Can't Wait to add to this number,
Katey

PS Keep an eye out for our upcoming WHAT NOW!? Meet ups kicking off this Saturday and Sunday in Martinsburg and Morgantown.
