Team, this isn't the email I wanted to send on Election Day, but I have to.

Here's the situation: Turnout continues to surge across the district on this final day of voting, and we have to reallocate extra resources toward poll greeting and voter protection. But rest assured, we have the infrastructure and people power to meet this moment.

Here's the problem: I just ran the numbers, and because of these last-minute Election Day expenses, we now have a $15,000 hole in the budget at the worst time.

I know we've asked a lot of you. But this election will come down to every last vote, and having to make the impossible decision to scale back digital ads or organizing infrastructure before the polls close is not one we can afford to make.

We’re hoping to close this gap in the budget by raising it back immediately. Will you rush a donation of $25 or whatever you can afford to put this campaign back in the green? [[link removed]]

Unlike our opponent, Julie can't just dig into her bank account to loan $15,000 to the campaign. But I know this grassroots team has what it takes to carry us over the finish line.

No regrets,
