Welcome to another edition of FT Now! We hope you had a spook-tacular
Halloween and enjoyed an extra hour of sleep last night! Now for some
news. When it comes to the presidential election, Americans probably
deserve to know what they'd be getting in a potential Joe Biden
Administration. Hint: "The Squad" has big plans and they all involve
radical, big-government policies. In unrelated news, Gov. DeSantis in
Florida is stepping up in a big way to fight the opioid crisis. And one
GOP governor is showing strong support for his state's law enforcement
community. Read below for more!

What Happened:

In a recent interview, Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar let slip what
all radical progressives have been thinking since Joe Biden clinched the
presidential nomination: If he wins the White House, he'll have to do
what they say. According to Omar, that means things like enacting the
Green New Deal and Medicare For All.

Why You Should Care:

With the election just a few days away, voters deserve to know what
they'd be getting with a Joe Biden presidency. Hint: Not just a
"moderate" Democrat in the White House.

officers and spoke out against efforts to defund the police.

endangers law enforcement officers and their families."

What Happens Next:

The governor has called on the state legislature to pass laws that would
